As pointed out in my article, there are many people in the village 'looking out' for this stag. Our local deer management experts were also watching him. He visits our garden every night and we've seen him during daylight hours, and he looks extremely fit and healthy. He's not suffered at all, and the bag has just been an inconvenience to him. Be assured that no-one in this community would allow any animal, wild or otherwise, suffer in front of our eyes.

I saw this stag outside our cafe,and was furious that no one had done anything about it.I immediately reported it to the SSPCA,I think that those responsible should be shot for leaving feed bags lying about,how ignorant,or just plain lazy are these people?
