CRAFTING WORKSHOPS?

Would any 'crafty' folk in the Garve area be interested in getting together occasionally, to try out a few new skills?

I have been asked to demonstrate sugar craft, paper crafting for handmade cards, and I could also provide a session of Cathedral Window Patchwork.

If there is enough interest, I can then book a few slots, when Garve Hall is available.

I previously ran these groups throughout Ross-shire when I worked for the Community Education department.

It is amazing how easy it is to achieve really fabulous results using the right materials and given a little direction. I always enjoy picking up new ideas myself from others in the group.
I have a varied stock of tools and materials, so there would be the opportunity to try out pieces of equipment that you don't already own.

Sugarcraft moulds, cutters, embossing and die-cutting machines can be really costly so it's a great opportunity to try out these items, without spending a huge amount of money.
As scalpels and heat tools would be used, I would say these sessions would be suitable for pupils of secondary school age, and adults.

At this stage, I am just gauging interest, so do give me a call detailing if you would prefer an evening or daytime slot, with an email address or phone number if you think you would like to have a go.
No long term commitment or membership necessary.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
